Chasing Talent is proud to have partnered with a Canadian integrated communications agency that is growing quickly while establishing themselves as a leading player in the public relations and communications space. The agency is looking to hire a Senior Account Director who will join a team of talent professionals and work across a roster of stellar brands.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Account Director will leverage their experience in public relations and communications across with a broad and varied range of clients in the tech, healthcare, non-profit, financial services, corporate and consumer sectors. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop and execute PR and communications strategies and campaign plans.

  • Provide day-to-day senior counsel to clients while managing key accounts.

  • Manage, mentor and coach a high performing team.

  • Build and nurture client relationships ensuring objectives are met and organic business development achieved.

  • Create, pitch and manage media relations earning coverage for clients.

  • Conceptualise, pitch and implement high impact events and activations.

  • Execute corporate communications, crisis and issues management.

  • Seek opportunities for thought leadership for clients in elevating business profiles and positioning.

  • Participate in new business development, pitching and proposal writing.

  • Build the agency brand by attending networking events.

  • Work closely with agency leadership to support and develop a strong company culture.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 7/8 years experience, preferably in agency.

  • Track record of creating and securing high impact media coverage.

  • Strong team leader, able to mentor, guide and effectively resource the team.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to manage client accounts effectively, retaining and growing the business.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Strong strategic and critical thinker.
