Chasing Talent is proud to have partnered with a Canadian integrated communications agency that is growing quickly while establishing themselves as a leading player in the public relations and communications space. The agency is looking to hire an Account Manager who will join a team of talent professionals and work across a roster of stellar brands in the consumer tech and lifestyle space.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Account Manager, Consumer Tech & Lifestyle, leads high-visibility PR and communications programs for brands ranging from emerging startups to established consumer names. You’ll lead multiple accounts, shape narratives, secure meaningful coverage, and bring forward ideas that help our clients stand out in competitive markets. Experience in both technology clients and/or consumer and lifestyle brands is valuable.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Lead day-to-day account management with a focus on strong communication, clarity, and follow-through.
Develop PR strategies that support client goals and deliver measurable impact.
Collaborate with teams to build integrated programs that cut through noise and resonate with audiences.
Secure high-value coverage across national, lifestyle, tech and business outlets.
Draft and edit pitches, media briefs, thought leadership content and other client-facing materials.
Demonstrate creative problem-solving when a story needs a new angle.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing all communications from calls to daily updates.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Associates, helping them prioritize and grow in their roles.
Support Directors and VPs with research, insights, and new business opportunities as required.
Contribute to the culture and internal initiatives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
4–5 years of PR or communications experience in consumer tech, consumer lifestyle, or both
Interest in the consumer landscape, whether tech innovation, everyday products, or cultural trends
Confidence leading client conversations and navigating multi-stakeholder environments
A strong track record of securing meaningful media results
Clear and compelling writing skills
Ability to manage shifting priorities and maintain strong organization in a fast-moving environment
Commitment to excellence in your work
Attention to detail and pride in producing client-ready work
Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills
