Compensation negotiable on experience in the $150,000 -$175,000 base range
Chasing Talent has partnered with one of Canada’s fast growing integrated communications agencies to hire a Vice President Integrated Communications. Due to continued success and expansion in their Toronto office, they are looking to appoint a strategic leader responsible for driving high-value accounts, business growth, and championing their stellar reputation. In this newly created role, the VP will apply their excellent and extensive skillset across creative strategy, client leadership, and business development as a trusted advisor to clients and the team while leading integrated programs across the PR, digital, marketing, events spectrum.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Strategic lead on roster of clients:
Guide integrated communications planning ensuring it is aligned to client’s objectives. Lead the team in the strategic process and execution of plans.
Leverage your creativity to develop world-class brand strategies.
Be a strategic advisor to clients offering solid and knowledgeable counsel.
Business development support:
Participate in RFPs, networking and initial calls with client potentials.
Support business growth through new client acquisition and organically grow the existing client base.
Supporting leadership in building the agency profile:
Be an ambassador for the agency elevating their reputation and market presence.
Attend marketing and networking events.
Participate in related associations and activities.
Embody the agency leadership culture and company values.
Key resource to agency operations:
Attend leadership and management meetings, support on town halls, growth and operations meetings.
Leverage your budgeting, forecasting and profitability acumen to support agency operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A tenured marketing and communications professional with upward 12 years experience.
Bachelors degrees in communication, marketing or related would be beneficial.
Should be an expert in leading and ideating integrated campaigns with experience in PR, digital, events and marketing.
Must be experienced as a strategic client lead with success in delivering impactful strategies and programs with demonstrated long-term growth achievement.
Have team leadership experience, mentoring and fostering talent while leading by example.
Be a skilled presenter and excellent storyteller with exceptional written and verbal skills. Must have a track record for developing strategic plans, building decks and to hold strong presence with the client and peers.
Bring expertise in leading large scale campaigns applying a strong background in the integrated marketing mix of PR, digital, influencer marketing, creative.
Hold budget management, resource management and profitability acumen. Data driven mindset interpreting learnings into action.
Highly personable, confident and credible with a strong communication skillset able to influence and motivate.
