Chasing Talent has partnered with a Montreal headquartered boutique Public Relations and Communications agency with a stellar reputation for their work across a roster of fashion, lifestyle, hospitality and beauty brands. We are seeking Account Director level talent to join the team for a mat leave contract period, however there may be longer term potential.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As Account Director you will be responsible for client counsel, strategic planning and execution, team leadership across a roster of clients and covering media relations, influencer relations, thought leadership, events and activations. You will be working with a team of strong PR and communications professionals in a strong office culture. The agency offers a healthy work life balance and places emphasis on wellbeing.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Leading a roster of clients in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and hospitality.
Developing and executing strategic communications and PR plans.
Team leadership, coaching and mentoring.
Execution of PR and communications plans across earned media.
Implementation of influencer programs.
Planning, coordination and execution of events and activations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least eight years experience ideally working in PR and communications agencies.
Experience working across clients in the beauty, lifestyle, fashion and hospitality sectors.
Expertise in strategic communications planning and execution.
Strong team leadership abilities.
Exceptionally strong written and spoken communication skills. Bilingual in English and French is a plus.
Established relationships with Canadian media is an advantage.
