The agency is looking to hire a Senior Account Director Digital who will join a team of talented professionals.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Account Director, Digital will be responsible for helping brands build relevance, connection, and community through digital-first thinking and social-led strategy. This individual will lead a portfolio of clients across organic social, influencer marketing, creator partnerships, content strategy, and paid amplification, ensuring programs are culturally relevant, platform-native, and aligned with business objectives.

Working closely with clients and internal teams, they will provide senior strategic counsel, uncover growth opportunities, mentor emerging talent, and help shape the continued evolution of the agency's digital practice.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead the agency's digital strategy practice across a portfolio of key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to senior clients and ensuring programs drive measurable business outcomes aligned with client objectives.

  • Partner with PR and account teams to develop integrated, digital-first campaigns that maximize impact across channels.

  • Develop and oversee digital-first strategies spanning organic social, paid media, influencer marketing, creator partnerships, content production, community management, and audience growth initiatives.

  • Own senior client relationships, maintaining a deep understanding of business goals, competitive landscapes, industry trends, and opportunities for growth.

  • Lead the development of annual and campaign-specific digital roadmaps grounded in audience insights, cultural relevance, performance data, and business objectives.

  • Provide strategic oversight and quality control across all digital programs, ensuring best-in-class execution and measurable impact.

  • Champion a data-driven approach to digital marketing, establishing KPIs, translating performance insights into actionable recommendations, and demonstrating business value for clients.

  • Establish measurement frameworks that connect digital performance to client business objectives and demonstrate ROI.

  • Identify opportunities to grow client partnerships through strategic recommendations, expanded service offerings, and participation in new business initiatives such as proposal development, client presentations and digital scope recommendations.

  • Mentor and develop the Digital team through coaching, resourcing, career development, and

  • succession planning while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

  • Act as one of the agency's digital subject matter experts, identifying emerging trends, platform developments, and evolving consumer behaviours to inform client strategies and agency growth.

  • Oversee account profitability, resource allocation, forecasting, and team utilization to ensure sustainable client and agency growth.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 8-10+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or integrated communications, ideally within an agency environment.

  • Proven experience leading social and digital strategies for consumer, lifestyle, technology, entertainment, corporate, or B2B brands, including integrated campaigns across earned, owned, paid, and influencer channels.

  • Deep understanding of social platforms, digital ecosystems, audience behaviours, and emerging trends.

  • Strong expertise in influencer marketing, paid social, creator partnerships, and social-first campaign development.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into strategic recommendations and business outcomes.

  • Exceptional client management skills with experience advising senior stakeholders, growing accounts, and identifying opportunities for organic business development.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams within a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, culture, and the evolving digital landscape.

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to connect digital initiatives to broader client and agency objectives.
