Performance Marketing Manager

Chasing Talent has partnered with an established and transformed Canadian SaaS firm who is making great strides in the fintech space to hire a Performance Marketing Manager to join their high performing team.

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Performance Marketing Manager working alongside the Performance Marketing Director and reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategies that drive digital success. You will be working with cross functional teams and external partners to ensure marketing efforts are impactful, innovative and customer focussed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Digital Registration & Lead Generation: Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to drive new customer acquisition growth.

  • Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with agency partners to scale and optimize paid media campaigns, creating a dynamic digital footprint, especially focusing on Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) to place the company within a digital arm’s reach of their target audiences.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales and Finance teams to deliver fully integrated and optimized campaigns.

  • Budget Management: Manage the performance marketing budget effectively, allocating resources across the relevant phases of the customer journey.

  • Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships with strategic partners and vendors.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop and maintain internal reporting mechanisms to analyze campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement, and regularly analyze and report on key metrics (CPM, CPC, CPA, LTV, ROAS).

  • Data-Driven Culture: Build a performance-based, data-driven culture to drive continuous testing, experimentation, and feedback loops, demonstrating marketing effectiveness and using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.

  • New Channel Development: Explore and test new channels, such as TikTok, to expand reach and drive engagement.

  • Customer Centricity: Ensure all marketing strategies are aligned with the goal of enhancing the customer experience and meeting their needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in performance marketing, media buying, or user acquisition.

  • SEM & PPC Expertise: Extensive experience in managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing, including remarketing to capture existing demand.

  • Digital Platforms: Proven success in planning and buying across key digital platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Stackadapt, etc.).

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in various tools and metrics for campaign analysis and optimization.

  • Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and optimizing spend to drive ROI.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with external partners and internal teams.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Fintech Experience: Experience in the fintech sector is an asset.

WORK MODEL

This hiring client has a hybrid work model with two days per week required in office. Currently offices are based in Missississuga but they will be making a move to downtown Toronto in 2026.

 

COMPENSATION

Every candidate brings a different level of experience to the table and hence we have an attractive range to accommodate expertise with a base salary range starting in the $80ks and into the early $100ks for the right fit.
